Healthcare Delivery Transformation Conference: ‘Disruptive Influences in Healthcare: Challenges and Opportunities’

Out of an abundance of caution and given the institution of travel restrictions by many employers in the state and elsewhere due to the impact of COVID-19, the HFMA Board of Directors has decided to postpone the March 25, 2020 Healthcare Delivery Transformation seminar “Disruptive Influences in Healthcare: Challenges and Opportunities".

We expect to reschedule the event as soon as possible, and are grateful to all of the speakers and committee members who have been working hard to assemble great content for this meeting. We will issue refunds to all those who have already paid for attendance at the event.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis there have been a number of health care legislative and regulatory programs enacted to provide financial relief for healthcare organizations.  As part of receiving these benefits, healthcare organizations are responsible in ensuring that associated financial and regulatory reporting requirements are met. This webinar will provide a brief overview of key financial reporting requirements connected to various forms of COVID-19 financial relief and provide practical tips and considerations.

COVID-19 Latest Regulatory Updates and Implications @ Webinar

In response to the COVID – 19 pandemic, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has engaged in allocating financial relief funding enacted through recent legislation while Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has implemented waivers and regulatory flexibilities to further address the impact on health care entities. This webinar intends to provide an overview of the legislative and regulatory updates from current financial relief programs; modifications and waivers to the Medicare, Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements; and changes to the coding, billing and documentation practices.
