This Committee is focused on issues relating to all aspects of hospital, physician, community health center, and ACO revenue cycle and financial management. The Committee’s primary responsibility is organizing the annual Revenue Cycle Conference (RCC) which takes place at Gillette Stadium in mid-January of each year. The RCC attracts 450+ attendees including 50+ exhibitors to this two-day eagerly anticipated event (Thursday/Friday). The Revenue Cycle Conference includes educational offerings geared towards different focus areas of revenue cycle and financial optimization. These focus areas typically include: General Revenue Cycle, Hospital, Physician, Community Health Centers, Government, Information Technology, Accountable Care, Charging/Coding, and financial recoveries. We also continue to attract prominent keynote speakers who help frame the healthcare financial landscape along with a celebrity guest speaker (often closely associated with New England sports and our utter domination of professional sports).
The Committee typically has about 25 members who contribute via Sub-Committees (educational programming, vendor/sponsor recruitment, marketing/social media and day-of operations). The Committee uses social media to solicit presenter applications and then launches a campaign to generate interest in the conference curriculum. The Committee convenes via conference call every two weeks starting in the summer months and continuing to the two-day event in January. Conference calls are scheduled for 60 minutes (but are often shorter). In addition to the bi-weekly conference calls, Committee members are also expected to research aspects of their particular Sub-Committee and contribute at the Conference. Participation in this Committee brings many benefits including networking with top industry professionals, access to leaders in the healthcare community, and exposure to current industry information, ideas and management trends. As a bonus, active committee members who also volunteer at the Conference, attend the event for free.
A strong team is required to develop the top-notch experience the RCC has become known for. We would enjoy your contributions to this high quality educational and professional networking experience. We need your assistance! The feeling of accomplishment at the end of the event is very rewarding and we have some fun along the way! Despite Tom Brady’s departure, the RCC intends to remain a dynasty worthy of your valuable contributions!
